Riyadh – Mubasher: Banque Saudi Fransi achieved SAR 1.7 billion in net profits during the first half (H1) of 2022, an increase of 10.52% from SAR 1.55 billion in the same period a year earlier.
Earnings per share (EPS) rose to SAR 1.33 in H1-22, compared to SAR 1.21 in H1-21, according to a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.
In the meantime, assets stood at 231.3 billion by the end of the January-June period in 2022, up by 9.44% on an annual basis.
During the second quarter (Q2) of 2022, the Saudi lender registered net profits of SAR 837 million, a rise of 8.7% when compared to SAR 770 million in Q2-21.
Last month, the bank’s board approved a cash dividend payment of SAR 0.75 per share, representing 7.50% of the share’s par value, for H1-22.
A total amount of SAR 900.64 million will be disbursed for 1.20 billion eligible shares.
In Q1-22, the bank reported a 12.17% annual hike in net profits to SAR 875 million, compared to SAR 780 million in Q1-21.
